Flu Clinic 2018 - Change of Venue!

Over the years, many of our flu vaccination clinics have been held at Leyland Road Methodist Church, but this year the clinic will be held at a NEW VENUE: Victoria Methodist Church on Sussex Road (click for Google Map). This will be held on Friday 28th September 2018 from 08:00 to 20:00, as a drop-in clinic for ONE DAY ONLY. Eligible patients should receive an invite by post around the end of August/beginning of September.

Unable to make it to the main clinic at the church? Information about limited catch-up clinics at St Marks for those who were unable to attend will be available after the main drop-in clinic.

Housebound patients who are eligible needn’t worry; our Practice Nurses will be visiting permanently housebound patients to administer the vaccine.

Unsure if you are eligible for a flu vaccination? Click here for more information

Please contact the surgery if you have any further questions.

Get Well, Keep Well

Of course we’re not just here for when you are unwell. Our team of healthcare professionals and back-up staff offer a number of clinics and services to promote good health and wellbeing whatever your medical condition.

Accountable / Named GP for All Patients

The practice is required by the Government under the terms of the latest GP contract to allocate all patients a named accountable GP.

Individual patients will be informed of their named accountable GP at the first appropriate interaction with the practice.

For convenience if you have a medical card, your Accountable GP will be the named doctor you are registered with. Patients registering over the last 2-3 years will not have received a medical card as these are no longer routinely sent when registering with a new GP.

However, the practice does keep a record of your registered (accountable) GP. If you wish to be told the name of your Accountable GP, Please ask the receptionists when you are next in the surgery.

Please note: There is no need to telephone the practice for this information.

Having a named GP does not prevent you seeing any other doctor in the practice. Your named GP will not be available at all times. If your needs are urgent, you may need to discuss these with an alternative doctor.
